A travel journal documenting places through food, people, and detoursThis project was built for It's Okay across travel with a focus on editorial identity, art direction, digital journal. It's Okay wanted to move beyond polished destination guides and show the uncertainty that makes travel memorable. The challenge was to create a journal that felt personal without becoming a private diary.
Brand System
A passport-stamp motif gives each place a distinct mark, while loose image crops and handwritten notes preserve the feeling of a page made on the road. The system is curious, imperfect, and easy to extend.
Typography
A narrow editorial serif gives stories a sense of place, while a friendly sans handles practical details such as routes, dates, and recommendations.
